Our annual summer outing in Baltimore’s working harbor on Scott Johnson’s 1930’s Era Hacker Craft speedboat has been rain delayed since August. Yesterday was clear and partly sunny so several of us jumped aboard in Caton. Once clear of the no-wake zone, Scott opened up the throttle. The Mellotron raced from Fort McHenry to the Francis Scott Key buoy (marking the mooring of the ship where the Star Spangled Banner was written). Then we headed up Bear’s Creek for lunch at The Seasoned Mariner.
